Tyson

Tyson is a gorgeous, 5.5 year old redhead on the lookout for his forever home. Tyson is missing an ear from a previous “puppy tussle” with his siblings, but it just adds to his adorable personality - and name!

Tyson is a needy boy with some separation anxiety and loves being with his people. He would likely need another hound at home to keep him company, and he thinks kitties are his best friends! He prefers the company of greyhounds, and doesn't always play nice with fluffy dogs, no matter their size. He would do well with kids though.

Tyson is a great snuggler, master hiking partner, constant shadow and the best shotgun rider for fun Home Depot trips - though you wouldn’t want him in the front seat… so maybe the best backseat driver.

Tyson would love adopters who are retired or work from home. He needs disciplined work on potty training and an understanding adopter who is willing to patiently work with him on this along with overcoming some separation anxiety. Tyson is a big barker, so apartments are likely not the best scenario for him. He tolerates being crated but has accidents in his crate. He isn’t destructive left out of the crate but still has accidents in the house.

Tyson is a large 75lb boy who is super tall. Tyson would likely make a great therapy dog with some obedience training. Tyson is fully vetted, has had his teeth cleaned, and has a negative fecal and heartworm test.
